Some Previous Guests Typical Comments

The comments below are very typical of all guests who stay in our apartment. Teresa and myself also love visiting as often as possible and never tire of the wonderful apartment, the magical location, or the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We enjoyed a week at this fantastic apartment with our two children. We were impressed by the spacious accommodation and the high standard of the renovation. Kotor is a beautiful place and this apartment offered fantastic views across the bay towards the old town. The apartment was an easy stroll into Kotor for an evening out, and there were plenty of local amenities on the doorstep. We are hoping to return one day as a week was just not long enough to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Super apartment fully equipped, lovely memory of buying freshly baked bread from local bakers and eating lunch on the balcony admiring fantastic views. Kotor was a place to escape from the usual tourist trap. Always found good places to eat very reasonable. Good bus service to lovely picturesque villages and plenty of good swimming.
Would like to go back again and would recommend Montenegro as a great holiday destination.

We have just come back from two excellent weeks in Muo where we stayed at this apartment. Don't be put off by the view of the apartment from outside - it is a great place to stay and the balcony was certainly our favourite watching the comings and goings of the various yachts and cruise ships.

The apartment itself has everything you could wish for for our family of 5. Although other trips mention problems with water supply we had only one half hour in two weeks when the water supply stopped.

The area itself is great for exploring and we found our own favourite spots including the tiny village of Rosa and exploring the hairy roads and tracks in the mountains. Perhaps our favourite was a boat trip from Kotor onboard the Mongibella leaving at 9/.00 a.m. and returning at 20..00. This took in a swim in a cave, time on a beach and a visit to the beautiful church near Perala. It also takes you past the Navy base with a submarine lurking nearby.

Lastly we must mention the shop below the apartment. The ladies running this were always incredibly helpful to us and talked as best they could about the different produce. We enjoyed fresh bread each morning at about 40p a loaf and of course the cheap beer e1.44 for 2 litres and wine starting at e1.26 for 1 litre.

All of us really enjoyed the water - always a pleasant temperature to swim in at this time of year and incredible views of multi coloured fish is you like snorkelling.

Spacious, comfortable apartment very close to Kotor. The views from the terrace are to die for. Mountains and fjord at your feet and the colours change constantly throughout the day. There are great walks in the mountains behind Kotor and if you like jogging (or walking), the promenades that run for miles from Kotor along the fjord are among the most beautiful in the world!

We (family with two children aged 11 and 13) stayed in the apartment for a week in late August 2008. We loved the location and enjoyed the amazing views (we were lucky enough to see an evening firework and light festival across the water from our balcony on the Saturday!) Enjoyed being easy walking distance from the old town which was very lively with excellent, good value restaurants. We were so impressed with Montenegro - a really undiscovered area for us and a real find. The children enjoyed swimming with the fish in the fjords and we enjoyed picturesque seaside villages such as Rose, breathtaking car drives up into the mountains (ie to the mausoleum) and an exhausting but satisfying walk to the fort in Kotor. Lots to see and do for a week in beautiful weather in the summer. The apartment was simply furnished but met all our needs and was beautifully cool in the heat (very effective air conditioning.) Would happily recommend apartment and Montenegro to friends. Owner very helpful. His recommendations combined with advice written in the guestbook kept in the flat were invaluable in helping us make the most of our week.

"the area every bit lived up to our wildest expectations - stunning and majestic, absolutely magical"
"the area has been completely unaffected by tourism and is a breath of fresh air. The old towns however are packed with lively bars; restaurants and shops and of course much historical interest"
"amazing how the apartment has been transformed into a beautiful, but very modern holiday home"
"everything we needed was there and we had a great time"

"the shop beneath the apartment made self-catering so enjoyable and effortless - and all was so fresh and cheap"

It's now a couple of days ago that we arrived back from kotor. What I want to let you know is: we had some wonderful days in kotor and your apartment made it even more better. The balcony is wonderful and we made a lot of use of it (at least the first five days while it was sunny) when not travelling around the beautiful fjord, along the coast or to skhoder lake.

May be - I hope so - we come sometime back, may be with our children (which we all left in hand of my grandparents) as montenegro seems to be a destiniation to be discovered not only at the coast - my wish is to spend somtime a couple of days in the mountains, but kotor is the perfect place to stay and to start looking around as well.

I really loved that relaxing and inspiring atmosphere at your apartment and hope this will not change too much when the new marina will be built and open. But this might be an occasion kotor cannot let pass.

Thanks again to make these great vacation possible...

Everything about the holiday was excellent - except the weather which I concede is not your responsibility! We take self catering accommodation all the time and your apartment is certainly among the best

The apartment was great, ideally situated for Kotor but far enough from the town to be able to park and not hear the music from the bars after midnight! The view down the fjord was stunning. The supermarket directly underneath was perfectly located to fall out of bed, down the stairs to collect fresh bread for breakfast in the mornings.

I would like to thank you for the wonderful apartment in Muo, we had a terrific stay and enjoyed the place very much. I will defiantly recommend it to others. We wanted to write something in the book but forgot at the rush of leaving. Also, we took your advice and drove from Risan to Zabljak and back through Kolasin and Moraca, it was amazing!

Let me say what a wonderful holiday we have had. The scenery is some of the finest that we have seen. Kotor is a beautiful place and we enjoyed the location of the apartment and all of its amenities.

We've had a lovely time, and enjoyed all the country could throw at us.

Visited as much as possible, the Mausoleum and mountain drives, Sveti Stefan down to Bar & the Lake etc. Over to Dubrovnik for a day. Loved Budva and it's Stari Grad. Managed to snorkel most days from different beaches and took a boat trip around the Fjord, brilliant. Loved Kotor and it's many restaurants, great country and a brill' holiday..The apartment was first class, very well equipped, comfortable, spacious and very convenient (but you know all that!!)

Thanks again, we've rented more than 30 different apartments/villas over the years and this one comes very high up the table.
